DoubleTree by Hilton Esplanade Darwin

I always stay at the Double Tree when in Darwin. My stays range from 4 - 12 days. I am always secured the same room for the duration of my stays. The facilities are excellent. The rooms are great with very comfortable beds (i'm a fussy bed person). The pool is beautiful. The pool service (food and drinks) is terrific. The food is absolutley beautiful, whether enjoying a meal in your room, beside the pool or in the poolside restaraunt. The staff are always welcoming and friendly.

The location, everything in walking distance. Clean room and bathroom with a choice of a bathtub and stand alone shower. The gym is excellent, we've used it on our entire stay. The ambience of the hotel entrance-relaxing.

the staff very very accommodating the pool was excellent

we had a large king room for 4 nights in Aug 2022 with some ocean view. including breakfast for two. $320 a night. The room was large, the bed super comfy, the bathroom needs a renovation (but very acceptable considering pandamic effects). The pool was big, excellent water quality and temp, lots of sun lounges, bar poolside. great at happy hour. Breakfast buffet was very very good (not excellent). The staff at reception, particular the person who checked us in , were excellent. Free movies for whole stay . Many to choose. Straight behind is Mitchel St with many bars and restaurants. Across road is esplanade park and the sea (where we spotted turtles). 15 min walk to city park. 20 min to waterfront precinct. 35 min walk to Mindl Beach and markets.

The staff at the front counter should recieve special acknowledgement . Top of the Class is Todd, the way he welcomed myself and my wife was outstanding. He helped us many times over our stay 10/10. Also Poppy and Piya were super friendly and professional.
